Marc Emery has been fighting extradition for years, but legal arguments cannot be made to prevent the extradition from happening -- and the Conservative Justice Minister, Rob Nicholson, will sign Marc off with glee. Marc would face Mandatory Minimum prison sentences of at least ten years in Washington state if that happened, so he is negotiating for a shorter sentence on one charge without the mandatory minimums. If you gather up sponsors or donors and collect $500, Dana Larsen will pay up to $500 toward our expenses to get us to your home town. After the $500 has been remitted to Jodie & I, you just need to get a venue for me to speak, which could be The Public Library, a coffee shop after hours, the Ukrainian Hall, etc., but NOT any licensed pub or bar. I need a microphone for more than 50 people. An outdoor amphitheatre, gazebo, etc. in a park is also excellent as long as there is an electric microphone. My speech is typically 2 – 3 hours including questions. If your home town is not on my list, contact me. All dates & locations are tentative until we get the $ to book the airfare & hotel.
